Dylan Thomas Prize Longlist 2017

Great to see so many poets on The Dylan Thomas Prize Longlist this year!

The prize is awarded for the best published literary work in the English language, written by an author aged 39 or under. It was founded in honour of the Swansea-born writer Dylan Thomas in 2006 to nurture emerging talent and is now one of the largest literary prizes in the world for young writers. This year’s longlist of 12 books features six novels, four short story collections and two volumes of poetry.
