Svetlana’s Dance is a collection of triptychs, a threefold form that provides a visual and narrative framework. The poems range from medieval tapestries to contemporary tragedies, encompassing the cruelty and pity exhibited in every age. Tom Pow was born in Edinburgh in 1950. He has published many poetry pamphlets and collections, including In the Becoming: New and Selected Poems (Polygon, 2009). His most recent collection is Naranjas (Galileo Publishing, 2021).
