This is a remarkable reading of Nan Shepherd’s poetry by the author, poet and actor Gerda Stevenson. In the Cairngorms was Nan’s only collection of verse and it echoes The Living Mountain in its lyricism and insights into nature, and in particular, the Cairngorms range of mountains in Scotland.
The CD contains a booklet with printed versions of many of the poems.
