Cymru is a nation steeped in history and linguistic tradition. From the Mabinogion to the tale of Bedd Gelert, it is also a nation grounded in mythology and folklore. This chapbook highlights such tales and integrates them into the modern age. Not a revival, nor a retelling, but a recontextualisation of how myth and lore still thread themselves into the seams of modern life. The poems use myth as a method of exploration of a modern Welsh identity. They hold a belief that, even if these stories haven't been told in a while, they still exist in each cwn and afon. Most of the poems in this book borrow from the vast catalogue of Cymreig mythology and folklore. A handful do not and instead are explorations of Cymraeg/Welsh language, culture and history in modern-day Britain
