Transpiration reflects on the entanglements that enrich and complicate our lives. In the midst of storm targets, geomagnetic activity, and digital alteration, these poems consider the possibilities for intimacy with the natural world around us and with each other. The pamphlet grieves for what has been left behind and what will be lost in the future through the actions of human hands. Yet life goes on: through the skin, the pulse, 'so many different ways to breathe'.
