Jaybird Live Literature is coming on tour to Newcastle with a fantastic new poetry production What Days We're Having Now next Thursday 28 February at 7.15pm, hosted by our friends at NCLA, at the Culture Lab, Newcastle University.
Up-and-coming poets Alex MacDonald, Ella Frears and Will Harris will be addressing the peculiar pressures of Generation Z life in a live anthology of subtly theatricalised poems touching on identity, uncertainty, the meaning of family and the nature of love. Experience for yourselves how poems can help negotiate life in this universally funny, sad and sweet show.
Doors open 6.45pm and close 7.30pm. Do come along before the event at 7.15pm to browse the bookstall and have a drink.
