Dear poetry friends and PBS members,
We hope you're all keeping safe and well in these unsettling times. We just wanted to keep you informed that, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the PBS is still fully operational. Staff are working safely from home and we are still posting membership and book orders worldwide.
As we're sure you'll be aware the situation is rapidly changing and we are constantly reviewing our book supply chain but we will keep you informed of any changes regularly. We have assurances from publishers that our main Summer selections will be published on schedule for PBS Member poetry parcels and we've already begun work on our Summer Bulletin.
We are constantly reviewing the availability of the wider range of poetry books on our website and will update all website book pages with stock availability regularly. We still endeavour to fulfil orders worldwide but please allow for delays to the postal system in quarantine areas and be aware that some postcodes in Italy, Switzerland, areas of Germany, Bulgaria, Latvia and Slovakia are not accepting any deliveries. For further information contact enquiries@poetrybooksociety.co.uk. Thanks for your patience during these difficult times.
To help you through the lock-down we've launched a special ISOLATION PROMOTION to bring PBS Members even more poetry from our easily accessible office stock. If you join the Poetry Book Society as a new Choice Member today, you'll immediately receive a FREE poetry parcel, containing the dazzling debut collection RENDANG by Will Harris and our beautiful Spring Bulletin magazine - full of poems, reviews and interviews to keep you entertained in self isolation. You'll also get a whole year of quarterly poetry parcels delivered straight to your door, as well as 25% off all books on or website, so that's 5 PBS poetry parcels for the price of 4!
Thanks once again for all your support - it means a lot to us - and we hope we can continue to bring you some sort of normality, solace and joy through poetry.
With very best wishes to you, your families and friends,
Alice, Nathaniel, Sophie and all the PBS team
