We're so excited to introduce our Winter Recommendation, Troy Cabida.
Troy Cabida was born in 1995, grew up in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila and is based in London. He is the author of Neon Manila (Nine Arches Press), War Dove (Bad Betty Press), and his pamphlet Symmetric of Bone (fourteen poems) was our Pamphlet Choice for Spring 2025.
His writing appears in State of Play, Bi+ Lines, 100 Queer Poems, and Tiffany & Co., as well as being shortlisted for the Bridport Prize for Poetry 2024. An alum of the Barbican Young Poets, Troy has served as producer for London open mic night Poetry and Shaah. He is currently co-editor for fourteen poems and a library assistant for the National Poetry Library.
