The Durham Book Festival programme has just been announced and it looks bigger and better than ever! Running from the 6th to the 14th October, Durham Book Festival is an action packed programme of more than 100 events with leading authors, poets and thinkers.
There's so much great poetry on the programme this year, including events with none other than the UK poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy, judge of our Mslexia PBS Women's Poetry Prizes.
As well as readings from our PBS Autumn Recommendation Andrew McMillan to launch his new collection playtime, our Spring Choice Sophie Collins, Summer Special Commendation Michael O'Neill and Autumn Wild Card Zaffar Kunial. What a line up!
There will also be a special commission from the incredible Festival Poet Laureate Jacob Polley, recent winner of the TS Eliot Prize.
