From the Mabinogion to the tale of Bedd Gelert, it is also a nation grounded in mythology and folklore. This chapbook highlights such tales and integrates them into the modern age. Not a revival, nor a retelling, but a recontextualisation of how myth and lore still thread themselves into the seams of modern life. The poems use myth as a method of exploration of a modern Welsh identity. They hold a belief that, even if these stories haven't been told in a while, they still exist in each cwn and afon. Most of the poems in this book borrow from the vast catalogue of Cymreig mythology and folklore. A handful do not and instead are explorations of Cymraeg\/Welsh language, culture and history in modern-day Britain.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"The Wildheart Press","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57658590462334,"sku":"9781067677602","price":10.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1331\/9925\/files\/1783509599_c9b40ba1-a21c-4e4a-bed0-12227086808f.jpg?v=1783524017","url":"https:\/\/www.poetrybooks.co.uk\/products\/belonging-by-daniel-hill","provider":"The Poetry Book Society","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
