Following the success of last year's poetry anthology in aid of Children in Need, which raised over £3500, this year WordAid has published an anthology of poems on the theme of survival: Not Only the Dark: 160 poems on the theme of survival (edited by Nicky Gould and Jo Field).
All proceeds from sales go to ShelterBox, a charity that sends customised boxes of aid (tents, water purification tablets, blankets or whatever is needed) to areas affected by manmade or natural disasters worldwide.
In addition to three of this year's T S Eliot shortlisted poets - David Harsent, Esther Morgan and Alice Oswald - we also have poems by Pascale Petit, Penelope Shuttle, Michael Laskey, John Siddique, Catherine Smith and many many more.
And the book is illustrated by wonderful photographs by Nancy Wilson!
