INFORMATION FOR PUBLISHERS

All publishers in the UK and Republic of Ireland are invited to submit their eligible titles to the Poetry Book Society Selectors. You may submit to the main quarterly PBS selections scheme, the Pamphlet Choice scheme, the Children's Poetry Bookshelf Scheme or the T S Eliot Prize. We usually ask for manuscripts six months in advance of publication, according to a carefully worked out schedule. A summary of the relevant submission guidelines are held on the site. Please read them and then contact us for further details about our trading arrangements and then ask to be included in our publishers' database if you wish to submit. All manuscripts need to be accompanied by submission forms, which we send to publishers four times a year (three times a year for the Children's Poetry Bookshelf scheme, once a year for the T S Eliot Prize).

Please note - the only category in which we accept self-published work is the Pamphlet Choice category. Please click on the links below to find out more about submitting publications to the PBS.

Email us your company name and address and we will include your details in our publisher database. You will then receive submission forms automatically. Please tell us if you publish books, children's books or pamphlets. Email info@poetrybooks.co.uk.
